Yes, we’re done with this one too. PLFinance.com - the office nearby, they specialize in accounting services, legal help and insurance. Oh, and if you’re aware of the tax season - they are also a great help. Once again - the URL is PLFinance.com.

Well, first part is over, more to come (November 12, 2004): First part is over, the client was introduced to the new working web site. Of course, there will be some minor issues and bugs and there will be some things to fix and so on, but nevertheless - it's WORKING!
On the same note - let's hope I will be able to survive the stress of [...]
Weird people that sell hosting (January 20, 2005): Yeah, weird. How else would you call these guys that don't return phone calls, don't respond to e-mails of their clients? They seem to be too big to notice small clients that have invested in whole year of hosting. And instead of making another sale they just ignoring it. Good, I'll make a sale on [...]
Web hosting requests (October 20, 2004): What makes people to post requests like these?
Platform: Linux
Space: 1000 MB
Bandwidth: 30GB
Control Panel: yes
IP Address: no
Email Accounts: unlimited
Database(s): unlimited
Expected cost: 1 per year
Right, like someone is really going to give them free hosting like this. The forum seems pretty empty. I mean if the forum would have been up to the resources, then sure, it [...]
Updates by the pound. (September 26, 2005): What I like my clients for is not only the money they tend to forget to pay, but for all the fun I tend to have meeting their requests. By all means - I'm happy to provide the services and whatnot. What amazes me is how fast the ideas and demands are changing :)

First of all - I got rid of hoster that didn’t care to respond, clients found themselves a new home (I was loosing money on ASP hosting anyway) and everyone feels bad. Well, this is life, you get up and start all over again…
Great post on Blogspot by Chris Justus - he reverse-engineered Google’s JavaScript that takes care of Google Suggest… Very bright and interesting article…
Plans on the trip to Chicago are more real then I thought, hopefully I’ll fly there on a second week of January.

Zealus Is A Helper (March 14, 2006): Yeah, somebody had to brag about how good we are, why don't I do it myself :)A very good friend of mine asked if I can help him set up some Football (as in soccer) Team Manager web sites for two leagues he's in. Needless to say I was eager to help and within days [...]
Security threats (May 4, 2006): Somebody out there doesn't really like Invision PowerBoard... today I saw fifth (yeah, that's number 5) vulnerability patch for single release 2.1.5People on IPS forums are screaming...
Pool enclosures and links enclosures (April 20, 2005): One of the hidden stones you immediately hit while moving web sites from one platform to another is the numerous links that search systems store momentarily become obsolete. Of course there are ways to make old links point to same places but sometimes the construct like http://aquashieldonline.com/cgi-bin/order_form.cfm ?step=2 doesn't really make any sense anymore... So [...]
Outsource the outsourcing!!! (October 27, 2004): Was interviewing another programmer for a web programming job and he (with an atrocious smile) told me over ICQ that he already saw the project I was hiring him for. Basically what it boiled down to is someone I interviewed earlier tried to hire him to do the project for me. I wonder, how big [...]

Yeah, it’s that time of the life when shit hits the fan HARD! The provider for Windows Hosting went down without notice… And IS down still for almost a week. Then we lost several clients, and finally decided to abandon the whole windows hosting thing and concentrate on Linix/PHP/mySQL in addition to web design services that we offer. Feel sorry for clients though.
Now the second part of the game - contacting 2Checkout for refund and cancellation, since the hoster (myonehome.com/worldseller.com) doesn’t respond.

Free web hosting (February 19, 2005): Some times you get a request that's just so plain impudent, that you can't even say no... Consider this - guy asks for 2GB of space, 15 GB of traffic for free hosting. Fine, I don't mind that, no problem. But the concept there is to get money from the ads to move to normal [...]
