Well, first part is over, more to come (November 12, 2004): First part is over, the client was introduced to the new working web site. Of course, there will be some minor issues and bugs and there will be some things to fix and so on, but nevertheless - it's WORKING!
On the same note - let's hope I will be able to survive the stress of [...]
Weird people that sell hosting (January 20, 2005): Yeah, weird. How else would you call these guys that don't return phone calls, don't respond to e-mails of their clients? They seem to be too big to notice small clients that have invested in whole year of hosting. And instead of making another sale they just ignoring it. Good, I'll make a sale on [...]
Web hosting requests (October 20, 2004): What makes people to post requests like these?
Platform: Linux
Space: 1000 MB
Bandwidth: 30GB
Control Panel: yes
IP Address: no
Email Accounts: unlimited
Database(s): unlimited
Expected cost: 1 per year
Right, like someone is really going to give them free hosting like this. The forum seems pretty empty. I mean if the forum would have been up to the resources, then sure, it [...]
Updates by the pound. (September 26, 2005): What I like my clients for is not only the money they tend to forget to pay, but for all the fun I tend to have meeting their requests. By all means - I'm happy to provide the services and whatnot. What amazes me is how fast the ideas and demands are changing :)

Selling cars from US to Russia. Our part was to create web design and CMS that would handle the shopping cart and some texts. Still working on content though, but the site is considered up and running.
Update as of 2007-08-14: Client has abandoned site, so we had to turn it off.

Two more sites are approaching finish line - some minor design bug in one and content in another are pending. Stay tuned for announcements.
After some minor tweaks and some innerworks on AquaShieldOnline.com the site is back on the first page on Yahoo. “Not thrilling, but nice”. I wish all my sites were there.
Spend last couple of weeks learning isides and outs of Mambo Open Source. Looks like a great platform to build long-overdue RussianHut place. If only people who can help were a bit more organized and actually cared about what they do… it would’ve been done already.

Sunday’s blabber (October 31, 2004): Don't forget to set your clocks one hour back!
This night must have been prelude to Halloween. I've got 11 Chinese asking for free hosting (with no apparent web site details) and one guy from New York who was so security conscious that he didn't provide his return e-mail address... But hey, what can I do. [...]
Some like it hot (November 16, 2004): Finally, the project started to look like it might come to an end. WYSIWYG editor works. Flash fragments appear. Images load. Client is happy. Next stop? Forum. Actually, appetite comes with the meal (if I translate the saying correctly), I already got a request for the following:
1. New forum
2. Chat
3. Internet radio broadcast
Not bad. The [...]
Radio Ga-Ga (April 3, 2006): One of the problems while dealing with clients - is the problem with clients that don't know what they want.
A client I work with on initial drafts (in fact it's a group of 6 people, most of them - women of various ages) has rejected six initial drafts - more or less original from my [...]
Problems, problems, problems. (September 22, 2005): The real-estate web site that I have moved to a newer server suddenly started acting up. The JavaScript stopped working, but not all the JS on the whole site. Just one little piece that by not working pretty much makes half of the site useless. Moved back because of the annoyed client.
Next step - putting [...]
