What to do when your contractors fail to deliver?

Run away? Buy a ticket to their home town and play the Punisher? Beg the client for forgiveness? Gee, what people usually feel when they set some one else up? I think I should try being more aggressive towards people who work for me.

Nice things in life

How nice was it to find out that after migration to a new server the support script was down… Thank goodness all my clients talk to me either over IM or e-mail, so no one noticed, I hope.

Another nice thing is that one of my supervisers at my day job cancelled the regular “progress” meeting because another one went to California. These meetings are so boring. If it wasn’t for one of my managers, who happen to be very cute lady (I’d call her hot, but that’s a bit shallow on my account), I would be bored a lot more.

Something is happening in NY, since Yankees lost yesterday (it’s not like I care, but apparently something is going on), today there were a lot of police car racing under the building where I tend to work. Siren whaling doesn’t help.

Funny moments – found a flash movie, it’s about outsourcing and is hilarious. Turn the sound on:
